Beginners will find conditions excellent - warm and calm seas, great visibility and much to see starting at just 20' to 30' - for short resort or full certification courses. Here in paradise, you can enjoy sailing aboard day sail charters that will take you for a day of sun and fun, with snorkel gear and picnicking provisions. Keep in mind that many day sail operators can pick up on both St Thomas and St John so check with them for details.

If sailing is not quite your thing consider power boating. Rent a sleek run-about which you can
captain yourself or hire one to guide you around the waters.

Sport fishing is a sensation in the VI. Challenge world records for marlin, tuna, bonita and sailfish. Light tackle fishing action is also available.

If its' below the sea you long to be, scuba diving is for you. Night diving is a sensational experience. Get certified in only a few lessons with a resort course.

Additional water sports include kayaking, parasailing, windsurfing, jet skiing, and, easy enough for everyone - snorkeling!

You can always elect to just relax on a beach lounge chair and observe the action. In the Virgin Islands cooling out is a perfectly legitimate spectator sport.
